Fossil

The slow, natural processes of the earth often yield the most remarkable designs. Petrified wood forms over thousands of years, as water and minerals gradually seep into the crevices and voids of wood, fossilising it in the absence of oxygen. This natural process creates a rich, layered surface of metallic tones, so marvellous it requires no further human intervention. Pairing this petrified wood tabletop is a cast brass base, its surface design inspired by the textiles of India. Together, they emerge as a celebration of both nature and human artistry.

A glass blower working with molten glass, creating a glowing yellow-orange glass object amidst billowing smoke and steam, with tools and hands visible in the process.

Casting

Casting is a manufacturing method that transforms molten metal into a specific shape, allowing for the creation of various objects and components.

It takes on precise forms as it cools within a mould, giving rise to a wide range of objects and components.
