Harihar

Changing ownership over the course of history- from the Marathas to the Sultanates and then Mughals, Maharashtra’s Harihar Fort became an obstacle of marvel for the warriors scaling its rock-cut steps. Each object in this collection is inspired by the fort’s seemingly vertical edges, featuring textured ridges that mirror its weathered steps, rising thousands of feet above sea level. These cast brass and sheet metal works become a lesson in history as much as objects of admiration.

A glass blower working with molten glass, creating a glowing yellow-orange glass object amidst billowing smoke and steam, with tools and hands visible in the process.

Casting

Casting is a manufacturing method that transforms molten metal into a specific shape, allowing for the creation of various objects and components.

It takes on precise forms as it cools within a mould, giving rise to a wide range of objects and components.
